Super Mario Odyssey

So I have been really wanting to try the Nintendo Switch and of course Super Mario Odyssey. Luckily someone was nice enough to borrow me one. The Nintendo Switch is at first confusing, because they use opposite buttons for next/yes and back/no, so being a PS girl this as kind of annoying. I don't know how many times I've pressed the wrong button. Lol. But as far as that goes the Switch don't seem that bad. The graphics are amazing, for a Nintendo and the games have gotten really far from my first SNES. It's really awesome that it's got it's own screen that you can use when your out of the house or at the loo. Lol. The controllers are light and using them not attached to the big controller wasn't my type of thing, so I had to attache them so it looks like a real controller, but that makes playing a bit harder, because you miss some stuff you can do with the controllers unattached. As for the game it seems like really sweet. It's fun and loads of stuff to

Need For Speed Payback - first glance

So finally the day is here, the release of Need For Speed Payback. If you had bought the Deluxe Pack you have had the possibility of playing the game for 3 days already. I got the Deluxe Pack too, but didn't buy it before last night so had no idea about this early start.  Others that had the possibility of an early start was the ones with EA Access, only the only got to play a little of the game, which it didn't say anywhere, so loads of players started a subscription, so that sucked for them.  But back to the first glance.  As most racing games the cars handle crap at the beginning and they usually feel slow. But after playing for about an hour and getting a better car, it feels better, so hopefully it will keep getting better. Mind you, I have been mostly playing on my Xbox the last few months so, the PS4 controller is really weird to hold. Lol.  The openworld part I feel they haven't really taken all the opportunities out of, but maybe it also changes after playing some

EA Access and Need For Speed Rivals

So, I've had my EA Access pass for nearly a month and with only finding two games to play on there I thought "hey, piece of cake finishing both in a month". Oh well, nothing in life is piece of cake is it now? So Need For Speed (2015) went fairly quickly, but then yeah, there was Rivals. First it kept messing up my saved game and when it didn't do that, the game gave me the message " Couldn't connect to Origins server, please check your internet connection or try again later" or something like that. I should have remembered because I've seen the message about ten times a day for 14+ days. So thank you Origin server for ruining my gaming time. If you people wasn't going to have a great, fully functioning server, then why make a ONLINE game? You don't even get the chance to choose play offline as long as that message is across your screen. So, now I'm not sure I'm that hyped about Need for Speed Payback, because I remembered almost ev

The missing sequels

Bilde
There have always been those games you really, really enjoy and for years after you are still longing and hoping for a sequel to show up. Sometimes you get your wish come true and sometimes you don't. My biggest wish for a sequel is most definitely Burnout Paradise, which is my all time favorite game. Not because the gameplay was that special, but because I absolutely loved the challenges. They gave me so many hours of fun with my friends, and of course some really annoying moments also. Lol. Like when you were the only person left in a 8 person room, that couldn't for the life of you jump through that hoop on the airfield. Or when you where supposed to land on the roof of another player at the bottom of the dam. My next on the list used to be Red Dead Redemption, but luckily Rockstar got their head around and made it, so I really can't wait for it to come out. Of course it got pushed back until next year, but hopefully it will make the game better. Next is Fuel. For

Play & Charge kit for Xbox One

The Xbox One controller was burning through batteries at high speed, so we found out we needed to go buy a charge & play kit. I wanted to get the one from Xbox, but of course they only had the one from Piranha in the store, and with living in Norway you don't have the opportunity to be picky, since there aren't many stores around. So with that we got the Piranha one, I all I can say is that what ever you do, DON'T BUY this crap. The play & charge part is not true at all, cause the cable wont stick to the hole in the battery, unless it's lying on the table not being moved. Which makes kind of hard to play, unless everyone else is much more skilled then me that is ;-)

EA Access

Hi and welcome to my new blog. My first entry will be about the EA Access subscription, which I'm currently trying out, as it came with my Xbox One S. And I gotta say, I'm disappointed. I found the total of two games I felt like playing, TWO. And then again it was only about 45 games to choose from all together.  Most of the games in the "vault" as sports games, and me and sports games don't go very well together, so you'll never see me play one. So can't really say I will be getting a subscription from EA Access once my free month is up.  I must say I like the thought of the game subscriptions like this though. Of course, as long as they have a fairly large catalogue of games too choose from, I would be willing to pay for it.  It's nice that you can go into the "catalogue" choose what you like, download and play, without having to thing about money. And of course if a subscription like this had all the new games also, it would really be
